Professional staff at Veyra

Technical and professional staff are integral to the Institute's ability to operate at a high level. Facility managers keep shared instruments calibrated and booked. Research engineers develop and maintain the software and hardware infrastructure that underpins dozens of simultaneous research programs. IP officers work directly with researchers to identify and protect invention disclosures. Safety and compliance personnel make sure the campus meets its obligations to staff and regulators alike.

Veyra invests in the professional development of its staff. An annual training budget of 3,500 cr per person covers external courses, conference attendance, and certification. A biannual staff review process ensures alignment between individual development plans and Institute needs.

Staff are full members of the Veyra community: they receive Institute communications, attend public seminars, and are invited to the annual all-hands gathering. Representatives from professional and technical staff sit on the Institute's Operations Committee and the Environment, Health & Safety Committee.

Facility and service contacts

Each core facility has a dedicated manager and a booking email. Service inquiries for the commercial arm — scientific analytics, patent searches, software development — go through the Services desk at services@veyra.example, which routes requests to the relevant team within two business days.

General operational inquiries — campus access, room bookings, purchasing, safety incidents — are handled by the Operations team. The research office manages sponsored project administration and grant reporting. IP-specific queries should be directed to the Patent & IP team at ip@veyra.example.
